Not much wildlife to photograph so . . .

Had a walk around the Bolt Head, S. Devon area but couldn't find much in the way of interesting and photographable wildlife; and the light was too poor for landscapes,so I tried some alternative subjects.

Are you going my way?


Monarch of the Glen?

Perhaps not quite; but when I saw this sheep I thought about a parody of Landseer's famous painting. Not totally sure if I have the colour correct as it was a strange light, but the sheep's face looks about right.

How do ewe scratch an itchy ear?

Shot into the sun so the highlights needed recovering which has left- slightly noisy shadows.

And if I was standing 6 ins from the cliff edge, I wouldn't be calmly scratching my ear!

All in all, these aren't quite as sharp as I would have liked but I think this was partly due to the damp air and hazy sunshine.
