Sometimes luck plays a big part by being in the right place at the right time. I was on my way out to a meeting with a few of the local Flikrites with plenty of time on my hands so I decided to walk the long way round take a few shots. Wildlife photography wasn't on the agenda until I spied this chap in a bush by the side of the path. As I fired a few shots off he moved out of the bush onto the top of the fence. He then obligingly sat there as I moved closer shooting as I went. I was eventually around 8ft away and managed to get him to fill the frame.

Its great when that sort of thing happens,I have had that happen on a number of occasions.It makes up for all the times I have actively been setting out to take a shot of a specific thing and see nothing at all!!
