Greetings from Shipley.
Your new camera? I have four digital cameras and find that all are OK used within limitations.
My old Fuji is only 2MP but is great for doing table top shots and general outdoor shooting.
My workhorse is a Canon G5 with broken flash and viewfinder but I make full use of it most of the time.
My big MP camera is a Kodak Easyshare which was a recent Christmas present from 2MP to 8MP which is enough for most projects. The Kodak is cheap but reliable and very easy to use.
All pictures can be improved by anyone really?
Try to do basic editing when you take the shot. ie; framing, lighting, support. There is no disgrace in using a good tripod with a camera, be it cheap, or the all bells ringing models.
But, if you take a bad shot to start with, then delete it and do it again.
Some poor shots can be enhanced by applying artistic applications from your photo editing software. I use Adobe Premier 8.
Good luck with camera.

Gerry
