Tripod head

Thinking about getting a new tripod head for finer adjustment on digiscoping and i am looking for some suggestions my tripod is the Velbon Delta with the removable hide clamp

Thanks Hobjob, does that mean a new tripod and head or would a Manfrotto head fit a Velbon tripod and which head if any would you recommend?

My velbom lives with my daughter who uses it for sticking
a flash on - which it probably does adequately
