| | Panasonic FZ30 Hello from a newbie
Thinking of buying a FZ30, all the reviews I`ve read seem good, any advice?
I know there is an FZ50 coming out soon is it worth waiting, and I cant find a price for it.

| | | Re: Panasonic FZ30 I got an FZ30 for my old boy last week for 366 sheets. They are reknowned for being very good indeed and MattXYZ's Gallery on here shows some great examples.
Here is the link to his Gallery http://www.wildaboutbritain.co.uk/ga...&imageuser=916

| | | Re: Panasonic FZ30 I use an FZ30 and would recommend it. I'm not sure of the full spec of the FZ50 yet - sounds like it will be 10m pixel and possibly reduced noise at higher ISO values, but I think 8m should be plenty for most people.
For wildlife photography with an FZ30 I would recommend a TCON17 teleconverter which increases max zoom to over 700mm equivalent. Also a close up lens is very useful for macro shots. I use a Raynox DCR150. All of the shots in my WAB Gallery were taken with an FZ30 and either a teleconverter or a close-up lens.

| | | Re: Panasonic FZ30 thanks for the endorsements guys. I do seem the sing the praises of the FZ30 quite often here on WAB - I'm sure some people suspect I'm on commission!
