| | | Dull day upto 1600 iso Pretty poor day light wise as was yesterday. But was determined to get out
for an hour. The poor light made me experiment with the camera settings (40D) and menu's, iso from 640 upto 1600. For some unkown reason he details from the pics did not show up when I down loaded them. I will check back using the camera. Plus Manuel focus. Will post the better ones in the Gallery latter.
Regards
Colin

| | | Re: Dull day upto 1600 iso Great photos. I love the nutchatch shots, and the two close ups are wonderful.
I had a similar determination to get out today. I waited till nearly midday for the weather to clear and then thought sod it and went out anyway. I was rewarded with cormorants, very tame squirrels again and 3 field voles, and with the less than perfect weather less dogs + walkers so I could photograph it all with out it being scared off |

| | | Re: Dull day upto 1600 iso I went out mid morning. Pretty chuffed considering the light. Just Had a call from another chap who came out with me with his camera (50D), He got a lot of shots but nothing he could use. Pretty pleased with the camera set up, lets hope its not a fluke.
Regards

These are excellent. How far away from the birds are you? Very nice indeed.
Well done.

They're remarkable clean, I suppose that's what the setting does! I haven't tried it myself yet,although having seen these I might just give it a go. | | | | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
