| | | One or Two Do you have a preference? The first image was taken in the same sequence as the second image but I've manipulated the background in image one to add some space around the kingfisher.

I'm impressed that while most of us have to crop our images, you do the reverse! Being too close to the birds I photograph is not normally a problem that I have

I think where you have movement 'frozen' but still wish to portray the perception of movement it helps. Even more so with no background distraction.

Another vote for the first one from me too.
I just think that photo conveys some space around the Kingfisher and a sense of direction as to where it is flying to.
Having said that, I would be pleased in getting either photo. Kingfisher is still on my "missing" list.
