I hope you'll still speak to me now I don't use my Bigma so often.
I'll always regard my Bigma as a fine lens, I've certainly taken a couple of shots I'm quite pleased with. I'm a bit undecided if I'll sell mine or hang onto it. |

The Bigma is a great lens, as for using it at the 500mm end, the first pic was taken at 500mm.
Dave | Its amazing shot no1 taken at 500mm end! I have had people on other forums telling me my bigma is oeoeoeoe at 500mm end (too soft with no detail) your shot just proves they are wrong!
Cheers
Brian
Ps I found a great pond up near Newton Stewart approx 17 miles from me which will be great for dragonflies etc next year so hopefully i will get some cracking shots like yours!
I have just bought the Canon 500mm IS and am waiting for my D1 Mk111 to arrive but i will still borrow the Bigma off the wife (she's claimed it) as i like the large range |

I just hope you don't try to convince me to change systems!
As for your Bigma, keep it, you never know when you'll want to use it.
