Another Bigma Question

Blimey, I've never seen a forum so defensive about their lenses!

Let's put the record straight - it's a great lens (I never said it wasn't - actually, I'm about to buy one).

Sigma's don't instantly fall apart straight out of the box (I never said they do).

OF COURSE £650 is alot of money (I never said it wasn't).

What you did say in a previous post was:

It's a cheap lens (come, of course it is, it's 5 times cheaper than the Nikon/Canon pro-spec equivalents) - and cheap lenses are prone to these kind of QC issues. Good luck!

So you did, in fact, by saying that the lens is cheap, insinuate that £650 isn't a lot of money.

There again, for a Dr., it wouldn't be a lot, would it?
