thank you to ron1863,kayleigh,deerboy,nightshade,brucep,pressld 2,robinp,chris hammond and ballarma for chipping in on my first post about finding birds hides etc.i took all your info into the field and tryed it out.i saw my first ever king fisher but wasnt quick enough to get him,i got some pics i wasnt expecting not quite a badger but still nice.anyway here are some of the pics and thanks again for the advice

I see one virtually daily but have no idea where to look it flies up or down the river at my back garden but never stops.

Some very nice shots Jay.

The Brown Hawker dragonfly is a great image especially as they are difficult to approach close enough to get a good shot.
