| | A great weekend's photography Hi all, hope you don't mind my enthusiasm! I finally got my wayward E-3 sorted by Olympus (they replaced it with a new one ), and I got it back in my hot little hands last Wednesday. This weekend is the first opportunity I've had to get out in the garden to do some photography (housework, what's that? ), so I attached my Olympus 50-200mm and 1.4 teleconverter and went out into the garden to see what I could find.
I hope you like them:
A bit of a shaky start...
Getting there
Much better !
Not necessarily the best specimens, but I had a great time.
Thanks for looking - hope you like them!

| | | Re: A great weekend's photography Lovely shots Thea, it must have been hard not having the camera. I went a walk with the dog the other day without the camera and felt lost without it. It's like the old saying "the sights you see when you don't have a gun", same without the camera, you always see something you wish you could photograph.

| | | Re: A great weekend's photography Thanks all for your very kind comments .
I think the photo of the white butterfly is my personal favourite.
I must say that it's great having a camera back again. I had been without mine since early June (nearly 6 weeks in all). It doesn't sound a great amount of time, but it seemed like an eternity towards the end - like you said Ron, the things you see when you haven't got your camera with you (buzzards, lovely insects, damselflies, all just saying 'come and photograph me if you can)!

nice shots. Funny how time seems twice as long when somethings in for repair ( been there!)
