Hi folks, just been a wee camping trip with the fiance up near loch garten. camped in a campsite near the osprey centre. took loads of pics but many werent much good, thought id share some of the slightly better ones, hope u like them, feel free to comment or advise.

i seen these wee birds buzzing about making quite a racket, can anyone tell me what they are? its not a very good pic i know, they were quite far away.

i quite liked this macro shot of a spider, again, i dont know what it is!

this wee chaffinc hardly needed cropping, infact, i almost had to take him in macro as he was so close, he wanted food from me!

took hundreds of this little pied wagtail but he would NOT turn around for me!! he was about 5 metres from me.

i saw this little reed bunting thru the glass at the visitor centre in loch winnoch, never seen one of these before and thought he was quite cute.

this swan, (i was told a mute swan) is on its nest at loch winnoch, quite a distance from me!

thats about it im afraid, both the loch garten and loch winnoch sites were first class, plenty to see and plenty of interesting people both visiting and working there to talk to and ready to share knowledge. the only problem i had was my fiance!

she loves the outdoors and wildlife but she gets bored when i want to sit for 5 minutes waiting for a bird to re-appear or something so i can get a better shot! i did give her my bino's but that only had limited success, any ideas?

Give her a camera!
