| | | Re: Lens problem Just a quick thought though as I've had several accidents with lenses in the past. It may be worthwhile getting the lens mount alignment checked out on your camera first before making any kind of claim. I think about five years ago I had an accident where the cheap tripod I was using allowed the camera to suddenly tilt forward and the lens smashed off one of the tripod legs. The result was a £100 cheap second hand lens was wrecked, which was not major loss. On the advice of my dad who did damage the camera and did not notice it at first I took the camera to my local repair shop. They checked it for free and found no damage so it was not too bad.
