Still about
Its a real busy time here for me here at the moment cleaning breeding pen's once its done I should have a bit of spare time for a while But after I gave up for the day I tried my 60mm macro lens. I am pretty pleased my attempts are free hand close enough to get a falcons head full frame. The only thing is I must remember that the field of depth is very shallow at F3 parts of the head look pin sharp but focus falls away quickley. I am glad i tried the lens and got out the box I think I will have use for it.

Very nice shots Colin. As you point out the smaller the aperture the greater the depth of field.Can be a bit difficult though with a moving subject so there has to be a trade off.
