I was able to reach Uni-loc and spoke with them on the phone today. They are sending me information. They said their web site is not working at this time.
I really appreciate everyones' help with this. You Brits are the best!

You can find UNI-LOC details on Envoy UNI-LOC - Tripods, DuoPods, Monopods, and Accessories .
The company still exists and is supplying tripods across the world, and the tripods have a significantly large fan following.
You can reach out to envoyuniloc@gmail.com which is the current email ID, for any support that you need. Mr.Dante Mody, who runs and owns the company is usually more than willing to assist directly. He is in India, till the end of next week, but will be available in UK after that. He has been busy doing the exhibition rounds at Photokina and the New Delhi Photofair 2009.
