| | | More Tamron lens advice I am considering either the Tamro 28-75 or 24-135 as a walk around lens. Both score well on Fredmiranda but the former is designed specifically for DSLRs whereas the latter will apparently cover digital and film.
Has anyone experience of either lens, please?
Thanks

| | | Re: More Tamron lens advice ive not used either specifically but in general terms i'd lean towards the latter both because 28-75 is a bit short for a walkround lens - 135 being more useful , and also because if the former is built for a 1.6 crop sensor you wont be able to use it on any cameras you buy later which have larger sensors.

| | | Re: More Tamron lens advice For a walk about I would go along with ron and eeyore and go for the 24-135 and if by chance you needed the extra that it gives over the 28-75 lens it will save you having to fiddle about trying to change lens and missing the chance of the pic of a lifetime
