Kodak C734 help

I am more than likely getting a Kodak C734 at the end of this month. I have been trying to find online what a before and after shot of a X4 digital picture looks like. Has anyone got a before and after of a X4 zoom please so i can get an idea what it would look like?
I am mainly using it for photos in the Lake District.
I will be going there this winter so I hope to get some good shots.

I am afraid that I can't help on the Kodak C73, but be cautious about a "x4 digital picture". Usually "digital zoom" is just an in camera crop with no extra details.

assuming you meant the kodak C743 (734 doesnt seem to exist looking at the kodak site) this camera has a 3x optical zoom and a 5x digital zoom - like hobjob says i'd be inclined to forget the latter as its just an in camera crop

while the 3x optical zoom will take from a slight wide angle to a slight zoom (about 24-75mm 35mm equivalent)

is there any particular reason you picked the kodak btw - while they arent bad cameras they wouldnt be my first choice for what you are doing - I'd be inclined to look at either a canon powershot, nikon coolpix, pentax optio, or fuji f11 (the latter is virtually the same spec as the kodak but smaller , better built and has high endurance batteries which can do 1000-1500 shots on one charge.)
