But I like it... 
It's just camera shake and I very nearly deleted it there and then, but the more I look at it the more it grows on me. I think it has a dreamlike, other-wordly quality to it.
Just in case it's making your eyes water, here is a more traditional woodland scene...

The first picture reminds me of the special blurry effect they used to use in films when you were supposedly seeing through the eyes of someone who had been drugged

I like it too. I had a similar experience yesterday when I was editing some photos and was on the verge of deleting a smeary one of a gull in flight when something caught my imagination and I kept it. |

Far right tree at the base does look like a deer laying down head up....but i bet it wasnt...
i kind of see what your saying with this pic...i just wish it was the same effect with more depth to the colours instead of the washy/smokey colours...but i LOVE pic two.
