This is the original straight cropped and enhanced 
This is a crop from the left hand side 
and this a crop from the right hand side 
Does anyone think any of them work cropped as individual images?

I prefer this image uncropped, Adult + juveniles.
The Adult looks suitably "proud" and the Juveniles "relaxed and chillin' out" with their mum!

I agree with Oscar. Leave both in the picture. It is a lovely picture with Mum and babies.

If it was me I would probably crop a bit off the top & bottom of the original.

Cropping has various advantages, as you have proved by the individual pictures. I'd be more inclined to crop it "letterbox" style: removing most of the water top and bottom, and keeping both subjects in the same image.
Never be afraid to crop.
