| | | Battery Charger Can anybody recommend a good battery charger for my Fuji 9500 the one i've got doesn't seem to be very good as the batteries don't last very long at all. It takes AA batteries
Thanks

| | | Re: Battery Charger Hi John,
I use a Uniross charger and 2300 mAh AA batteries in my flash gun and get quite a good life out of them. You can get 2700 mAh batteries now - the higher the mAh number, the longer they will last between charges. And the more expensive they will be, too, although this looks almost too good to be true... Amazon.co.uk: Uniross AA 2700mAh (4) Rechargeable Battery Ni-Mh: Electronics & Photo
I paid about £12 for a pack of 4 2300 mAh in B & Q.

| | | Re: Battery Charger You get what you pay for with battery chargers.
The more you pay the more sophisticated the electronics
and charging (and for some discharge) cycles are
more carefully controlled.
Modern batteries do not need the deep discharge that early
re-chargeables used to need.
I have had good results from "maha" chargers for
AAs. I used to use a lot with my first minala digital
which was very hungry. My techie son did a lot of
web reading and three years ago was sure they
were the best.
Incidentally some people calim that re-chargeable are
not best for flash, as they can't deliver enough current quick
enough for repeated shots.
Certainly my canon 580EX (or something like that) recommends
alkalines. | | | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
