Some years back I needed business cards for my branch of B.S.A.C.
I just looked online for what looked like reputable companies - the sort who gave proper pricing details and had proper contact details, etc.etc.
The two companies I made contact with sent me comprehensive sets of samples, from which I was easily able to select one.
The resulting cards were very professional looking. (Gold leaf type print on gloss black background), and for the price paid, there wouldn't have been any great saving in buying the materials & ink etc. to print them at home.
Regards,
Mike. |

| | | Re: Desktop publishing I'm going to need to be manipulating all sort of images and my own headed paper, reports etc, so although I probably will use someone like vista (might get some pens done too!!) I will still need to be able to do my own desktop publishing. Have had a play with open office last night and am quite impressed, I'll see how I get on with it

I consigned MS Office to the bit bucket once I got Open Office installed.
