| | | Re: no camera raw with elements 7 i'd go for making an effort to find out why CS3 wont install on vista.
there are so many issues with vista that there are forums dedicated to help with this kind of thing
one question, is it 32 or 64bit vista you're running?

| | | Re: no camera raw with elements 7 Hello trevor I run vista on my pc and operate CS3 and have no problems installing or un-installing then re-installing ,I would persist in your attempts at getting it installed .
What I would do is check in your program files that all elements of Adobe is deleted then try again, best of luck with it

trevor. | Elements 7 should support raw files. I run Elements 7 with vista and my version supports raw. |

If your error is similar to this:
When trying to install Adobe Photoshop CS3 Extended Trial on Windows Vista the installation would start and after a second the window would close and disappear.
then
at a command prompt (run as administrator) try this
Type
regsvr32 JScript.DLL press enter |

| | | Re: no camera raw with elements 7 I have had similar problems. Once you install PSE 7 go to the Help area on the toolbar - the uploads and you will be able to upload RAW 5.5 this shuld sort out your problem.
I had problems with CS3 when going to Vista, that was why I bought PSE7. I would not recommend using the organiser or browser in PSE7, I ended up losing a lot of images I don't know where they went.
I suggest you download Neat Image for a browser it is very intuitive and FAST and you can use it to launch directly in to PSE 7 in Camera RAW. It is particularly good for downloading and prioritising images for subsequent processing in PSE 7.

| | | Re: no camera raw with elements 7 Hello Trevor glad you got your CS3 working thats the problem if some of the files are left in the folders they can cause conflict when trying to re-instal the programm again its always a good idea to go into the C drive and clear out all trace of the appropiate program before re-installing checking that all traces have been removed .
