Yes, thanks for posting! RE The GIMP; I've used it too, back when I was on Linux. I too don't think I'd got the most from it though. It has hundreds of functions, most of which I never had the opportunity to use! A good package, and one I think would be pretty useful.
I'll have a look through that list now...
Take care, Jason |

| | | Re: Free editing software Another vote for GIMP from me too, and this is from someone who has not really used it very much, but I can see the potential of it.
I also use Photoscape and Silkypix. Both are free. Photoscape is extremely easy to use. Silkypix is a bit more complicated but can read a larger range of RAW files.
I have found that there is lots of free stuff out there if you look around. I have, reluctantly, just bought one piece of photo software, but other than the operating system (XP) and games, everything else I have is free.

I may even have another go at trying to figure out how to use gimp again now.

| | | Re: Free editing software If you have experience of and prefer the 'look and feel' of Photoshop, then Gimpshop may be for you. It's Gimp tailored to look and feel like Photoshop:
N.B. I've not used it so cannot offer any judgement. http://www.gimpshop.com/
