| | | Problems with Preview in Adobe Bridge CS3 I'm having problems with Bridge, when I click on a thumbnail in the "Content" pane, I get a completely different image in the "Preview" pane - the image that is displayed can even be in a different folder to the one I am viewing. I suspect it is a problem with the cache so have changed the cache settings but it still happens. Has anyone else had this problem? Is there a way of switching off the cache in Bridge? I am running CS3 on Vista Ultimate.
Thanks for any advice/suggestions.

| | | Re: Problems with Preview in Adobe Bridge CS3 Never had that problem Phil. I presume you've tried purging the cached thumbnails (in Prefs>Cache> ?
Have you tried uninstalling & re- installing CS3 ? Thats about all I can think of to rectify the problem. |

| | | Re: Problems with Preview in Adobe Bridge CS3 Hi,
Thanks for the reply. Yes, I have tried purging and re-building the cache, and re-installing, but no good. I also checked for any updates but it seems I am using the latest version. I have no problems with other viewers (I also have Nikon's ViewNX and that works fine). I suspect it might be a compatibility problem with Vista - won't be the first program that does not like Vista!
Regards

| | | Re: Problems with Preview in Adobe Bridge CS3 Hello Phil I have CS3 extended and operate Windows Vista and do not have a problem with the Adobe Bridge ,for some unknown reason it is completely different from previous editions of CS were it used to open straight into Photoshop from the Bridge, here is how I found you get round it,
1. Open up in camera Raw as Normal, select image
2. Select open up in Adobe Raw
3. This will then allow you to do any editing in the raw suite if yoiu wish or you can just ignore and go straight to the bottom and click on open image .This will then open your image up in Photoshop hope this helps you out
