use cleanscript on level 3 or 4 ..
its the only way.

It's in situations like this one needs to reformat the C drive and start afresh.

Might be an idea to re-install the original CS3 (unless you don't have a disk

). I'm almost certain that the original programme would install again without problem. You should then be able to uninstall it correctly with the uninstall function, before installing the extended version.

still not a lot of success, appears to be cleaned and starts installing but keeps stopping at 12.8 percent. May need to try the level 2 cleaning. sigh !! Will keep at it.

As ikenny recommended, try using level 3 or 4, I'm fairly sure that's what I had to do to remove all traces before reinstalling.

I'm sure you'll get there in the end.

Well thanx very much to everyone for all your help. Had some hairy moments and got to the point where i had corrupted files on my pc from the programme and ended up doing a partial re-installation of the operating system

Yep Davy and ikenny you were right, needed to use level 4

Even then it won't install on hard drive number one or two, however, I have cleaned my external hard drive to a level 2 and IT HAS WORKED !!!!!!!!!
