| | | Re: photoshop & raw Pretty sure CS did have RAW support Keith, but it could be that the version of Abobe Camera Raw you have installed does not support your camera. Most of the ACR upgrades that are released are purely to add support for the latest camera models. What camera do you use? |

| | | Re: photoshop & raw I have CS2 'Adobe Camera Raw' which doesn't support my model camera. I convert my raw files to DNG using 'Adobe DNG Converter' first and then can open and edit them with ACR and subsequently export into PS CS2.
Adobe DNG Converter is free and can be downloaded here: Adobe - Digital Negative (DNG)

| | | Re: photoshop & raw I have CS2 and it supports most camera models, I also have Elements 6 on the laptop and it is similar in it's support.

| | | Re: photoshop & raw Ah, right. Didn't know that, thought ACR was always pretty much independant of CS version. |

| | | Re: photoshop & raw Hmm, you need ACR v3.6 for the 400d and that seems to require CS2 minimum. Otherwise Elements v3 or 4.
Certainly not as straightforward as I'd thought... |
