| | | GIMP - Copyright Embossing? Hi WAB'ers,
I hope things are well with you I was just wondering if there is a way to emboss your initials onto an image in GIMP?
I've tried just using standard text but it's too distracting. I want the image to show through the embossing, as you get on commercial photography websites. I suppose it's more a case of ' invisible text' marginally distorting an image to a degree as opposed to being placed over the top, if you see what I mean!
Thanks for reading
Take care,

Put your text on anew layer, any color. On the layers tab it will say fill and opacity. Lower either of these (I use fill) and your image below will show through. I usually put a stroke or outline on the text to make it stand out. You can also bevel and add drop shadow.
