Dave P. | Ok. Given that size is restricted here how do I manage to get the file to David and Graham ? Email ? Or can it be done here ?

they don't appear to have a size limit
(I used to use yousendit.com, but I see they now have
a 2Gb limit on their free service).
The problem is though that web-based comparisons are
not that good really - raw contains more data and that
can show when you start to print above A4, and not
many of us do that
I'll pm my email adress |

I downloaded and installed Breezebrowser Pro on a trial basis last night. As Trisrtan says it looks to convert RAW files well but seems to offer limit RAW processing prior to conversion to JPG.
I watched the Camera RAW for PS4 video recommended by Ron1863 a few days ago and was impressed at the processing that can be done before saving as JPG. I am tempted to download the trial of all 450MB of Photoshop Elements 7 as the Adobe website implies that Camera RAW works with PE7 (and not just with Photoshop 4). Can a PE7 user tell me if indeed the Camera RAW plugin does work with PE7 and whether it is part of that download?
Thanks

| | | Re: Help with RAW format When using Breezebrowser I usually convert to TIFF, correcting exposure and adjusting white balance if necessary. Further processing (cropping, precise levels adjustments, noise reduction, saturation and sharpening) are then done as necessary in photoshop before saving as JPEG. Breezebrowser does have options for saturation, noise reduction and sharpening but perhaps these are limited in the trial version |

The trial version of BB does have those options but Camera RAW looks more flexible, I guess the only way to find out is to download the trial version of that too! | | | | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
