I downloaded VSO resizer which works really well too, just got Picasa 2 on my new lappy so will have to check it out, if it is good I will uninstall VSO

i have recently downloaded the faststone resizer, and use it for batch resizing of my photos, it works great, and is simple to use, it handled a batch of 112 photos very quickly and problem free,

I have a number of editing progs on this machine including Photoshop 7.0, Faststone, Picasa, Canon and Nikon software. They basically all do the same thing but each has just one or two functions I find useful, works better or easier than the others.

I rarely use Photoshop as it's too complex for what I need.

I use Picasa for quite a few things, but it never seems very transparent in what it does with files. It has folders of it's own that it keeps things in. Do like the collages though.
