Isn't it amazing how quickly you get used to your monitor - any monitor of any reasonable quality, and how you get into a routine when printing to compensate for this and that and with a few poor prints initially you end up getting remarkably consistent colour reproduction via your workarounds.

you are right , but the problem comes when you start selling image files , as unless you are editing on a colour balanced monitor your files wont be colour faithful if someone else views them on one
