Evening Faz,

I assume you've been looking at the 'Who's Online' page? Yes, we are members as we have user accounts - guests are those who may have just come across WAB via a search-engine or a link on a website and are just visiting (who may sign-up as a result). WAB members who are visiting but aren't signed-in will also be incremented as guests.

Hopefully that's what you were asking!

I joined for the walking thread, but not for the wildlife thread. Don't get me wrong I enjoy bird watching. Although the cycling threads are a little bit on the slow side.

Could be that somebody has googled searching for something but not found it or found it and gone away happy. There are a lot of people who join to ask a question and then are never seen again (although, hopefully, one day they may come back with another question!) therefore there are even more people who don't even have the question to ask!
PS: 'Guests', of course, can't write on threads or access some parts of the site.
