Calling all Nature Conservationists – Research Study

Hello all,

I’m carrying out a research study into the 'Nature of Nature Conservationists'. The study will explore the aspirations of nature conservation organisations and their staff, and individuals' experiences of working in this field. The results will be reported on in a future edition of ECOS – A Review of Conservation.

If you work for a conservation organisation (or have in the past) and are interested in completing a short online survey, then please get in touch and I will send you the link. My email address is gabrielle_horup@yahoo.co.uk

The information you provide will be kept confidential and your anonymity will be ensured.

It’s important that as many conservationists as possible take part to give a representative view of people’s experiences of working for conservation organisations in the UK!

Hello Gabi

Good luck with the study. Do you only want paid workers in this area to take part? And/or experienced? I have recently started voluntary conservation work on a local nature reserve so my input may not be of any value, but if it might be let me know and I'd be glad to take part or put the word out to my 'colleagues'.
