| | | How do you insure a group Our local wildlife group needs public liability insurance for its summer walks. This is proving to be difficult and expensive. Has anyone any experience or advice on this? Is it necessary? What do other groups do and can we affiliate with larger organisations to achieve this.
I am sure this must be a problem for many similar societies and groups. |

The BTCV offer group insurance through theyre own Insurer to groups beloning to BTCVs Community Network. There is an annual Fee for membership on top of the cost of the insurance. However if your group dosent qualify or wish to join the network, BTCV will put you in touch with theyre own insurers for a quote, according to the info in the link below. It s worth a try at least.
Good Luck BTCV - Group insurance

Dave | Thanks Davecatt very much for this info (and to Fuzzy-Felt Bloke). It looks like it will be just what we are looking for. I will be in touch with BTCV.
