| | | Annabel Whittet I should imagine that quite a few of us own one or two of these informative books about British wildlife.
I was reading an article about Annabel Whittet- the founder of the series, actually a tribute to her. Sadly she passed away in October of last year after a short illness.
She certainly leaves behind a legacy of understanding for all who enjoy British natural history. Her authors are all entertaining and readable. I've read most of the titles now and they are the sort of read that once you start, you can't put down but by the end you've learnt so much.
I hope the Whittet series continues long into the future.

| | | Re: Annabel Whittet Sorry to hear this. I have five of these very readable books, but I didn't know who was behind them. The frustration with Whittet Books is that so many of them are out of print. | | | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
