Dont get me wrong, this was the first time i have tried this, and proberly wont again, for i do prefer to get my shots in a more natural mannor.
However, i dont see any harm to the birds by doing this, as long as it is not prolonged or done everyday, as i can see the bird getting frustrated with thinking a competitor is always around.
On a final note, i would like to say i do love all birds, and would never consider doing anything to harm anything just for a photo, as our wildlife is far more important, hence why i am here. And i would be very upset to hear people using this technique in order to do so.
My appoligies to anyone that found this offensive. |

My appoligies to anyone that found this offensive.  | Personally, I don't feel a little casual hand-crafted ingenious deception is in any way wrong. If it gets out of hand (and into a tape), you walk a little closer to the unacceptable. I hope my post shows a certain lightness of outlook.
Leave the little rappers alone.
