A scientist notices something about the universe that he can't explain and he develops a theory. Then he, and others, look for evidence that either supports or refutes the theory. That evidence has to be factual or it's meaningless and cannot either support or refute the theory.

Evolution is 150 years old this year and has had vastly more attempts made to refute it than any other theory in the history of science but it still stands. Not only that but the mountain of facts upon which it stands just keeps getting bigger and bigger and bigger.

A long long time ago there lived this cheeky little monkey, he woke up one morning he looked around and his troup looked real down in the dumps so to cheer them all up he brought them all a banana . Everyone was happy . Monkeys are quick learners and so it evolved that if sharing your bananas was simply another way to make each other happy.
