Well I for one won't miss him. There is a huge choice of other presenters for the Beeb to replace him with. Lets just hope they don't try and replace like for like. I know one or two people I would replace him with

I think he is taking time out to rest and do other things according to the papers.

Regardless of what anyone feels about him, he is still a wealth of knowledge and information and i will miss him although not his unfunny jokes.

not Alan Titmarsh like him but he's not knowledgeable enough about wildlife veggies yes but not birds.
