Not sure if this has been posted else where, but Bill is in a psychiatric hospital. Hope he has a speedy recovery.  I now he's not everyone's cup of tea but lets hope he recovers soon. I for one will miss him on SW.

.... that's rotten news....... and with the way things are going here I wouldn't mind the next bed to him - no I really wouldn't - my life is rat poo at the min and at least next to Bill we could reminisce about birds and birding ......... hope he is soon sorted and back to health soon...... |

Awww PMG that doesn't sound good hope you feel better soon too.
my OH suffers with depression like Bill it is not a good place to be.
Keep well Bill says its the great outside that is his healer. At least we are going into milder weather allowing us to find this peace.

I think I've read he's had bouts of depression for some time. I've always felt that he's often looked uncomfortable on screen and wondered if he'd be a different and more relaxed person if you met him casually one-to-one.

He has a history of psychiatric illness, as did his mother and even though I have criticised him in the past, I wish him well

 well then friends there are a lot of WABers who have slated him on here may be he's a member, who knows! this could have been the last straw. we really should think about peoples feelings before putting it in public view.
