| | | Re: Wildlife (people) stars - my top three On the subject of Johnny Morris, whilst I used to enjoy Animal Magic and never missed an episode if I could help it, I found his voice overs embarrasssing.... Quite cringeworthy, even as a kid! I never quite got the point of it either, as to me, the animals were interesting enough without all that. (But then I don't "get" fungi either )
Zootime! Anyone remember that? I can recall the music, even now...

Konrad Lorenz! I thought I would be the first to mention this man (trust you H, still, great minds think alike, what? ) Having read his book "On Agression" whilst researching everything possible connected with wolves they had at my local library (they knew me as The Wolf Girl ) how could I ever forget....this was in the days before wolves became so "popular"; and there were precious few books arouind exclusively devoted to wolves, my favourite animal.
d. | Man meets Dog was the one that had me. His crossbreed Wolf-ChowChow must have been some dog. Wolves ah me! Such creatures, if there is reincarnation then let me roam wild with a pack.
