I met him on Frampton Marsh, he came across as rough type of person, a jovial
sort. He pulled out a Curlew from an inside poachers pocket, what he had shot. |

Julian | My brother in law was a policeman at Spalding in the 1950s. He was to be summoned for killing a Swan. He got off, he argued the Swan was Whooper swan
and was not protected by the Crown.

had to appear at Spalding Magi straits Court on the charges of shooting a Swan
this was in the 1950s. He argued it was a Whooper Swan, and wasn't protected by the Crown, Case was dismissed.
