kate humble

Good grief, I looked up Kate humble out of interest after certain members expressed affection, (albeit from very afar ) for her. I never realised she'd done so much, she's been in

Television
Holiday
Fasten Your Seat Belt '98
The Essential Guide to Rocks
Rolf's Amazing Animals
Countryfile
Animal Park
Top Gear
Holiday - You Call the Shots
Holiday on a Shoestring
City Hospital
Tomorrow's World
Rough Science
Abyss Live
Amazon Abyss
Wild in Your Garden
Restoration
Test Your Pet
Britain Goes Wild
Seawatch
Climate Change: Britain Under Threat
Autumnwatch
Springwatch

all this and she travelled 1500km through the Sahara desert on foot and camel with salt traders. Quite fancy her myself now

Obviously I had to check this thread out,

Kate Humble

I've added a profile page for the wildlife presenter Kate Humble.

If you know any events, appearances, book signings or facts about Kate, please post them here.

Re: kate humble

KH is another TV presenter married to a TV producer but unusually not one working for the BBC...

A quick google search will bring up over 600 references to KH and hamsters.

Now there's a figure - I mean a face - that warrants a thread of its own.

Having been involved in sub-aqua for some years I can honestlly say that I've never seen anyone wearing a dive suit even remotely as figure hugging as Tanya's.

Seriously though, albeit that Ms Streeter's programs are glammed up for the viewing audience, she holds several world records for breath hold diving.

The ability to hold a breath for something like four minutes - and dive to 160 metres while doing it - is quite mind boggling.

Regards
Mike.

Re: kate humble

Kate Humble's website has until recently been somewhat out of date as far as up to the minute information is concerned. ( & there is still a lot of old stuff still showing).

But it does confirm that she will be co-presenting Autumnwatch on TV from 27th October on BBC2

There is mention of Simon King being involved, but strangely, no mention of Bill Oddie.

The site also mentions Kate's involvement in forthcoming One Man & His Dog programs starting on 30th November.

Regards
Mike.
