| | | Re: liverwort or nort? Looks like a Dogtooth lichen Peltigera sp to me. Edit: I should read the thread properly, growing on a trunk, I am probably wrong with my suggestion then

| | | Re: liverwort or nort? Why do you think you are wrong? It looks very like illustrations of dog lichen.(peltigera hymenina) It was a very old fallen tree trunk. These colonies were very well established possibly in earth pockets.
