Only a grass, but so beautifully marked. I hope it has a lovely name to match.

Canary Grass Phalaris canariensis, I think. Certainly its what I note down when it appears near the feeders.

It is indeed Canary Grass. Very rarely found away from habitation, rubbish dumps etc.
