I have not tried to eat it and I am not too sure I will  . I wonder if anyone on here has tried it.

I tried it many years ago, from just up the road on Hayling Island. If I remember, it was very tough and not particularly palatable. I think it would probably need 'blanching' for a few weeks before eating, rather like Sea Kale.

I have looked up this plant on Wikipedia and it is described as edible cooked or raw. From your experience, I am pretty sure I shall not try it.
BTW this plant was on Hayling Island, near the Oysterbeds.
