Hi all,

I have three mosses please, I'm pretty new to this so forgive any bad pictures or those lacking the correct angles!

Single shot, very common here

All found in natural scrub/grassland in fairly large areas, often between cracked tarmac. No idea on sizes!

Hi Jason. As ever just speculative guess work on my part but here goes!

Photo 1+2 maybe Tortula spp, ruralis would be my guess.

3+4 The calyptra would point me to Funaria hygrometrica.

5 The capsule here suggests Bryum spp, could be dichotomum (only a vague guess mind)

Have lost me reading glasses so all this could be pie-in-the sky (great excuse!)

number 5 is not by any means conclusive....probably wrong, just a 'jizz' thing, would like other members thoughts on it!

Why, thank you!! It took a lot of work, but I have been unable to update it recently as my laptop broke down. As soon as I replace it I'll continue.
