Hi Chris, I don't think that's the one - although I'm sure it's more down to my rubbish pictures than anything else! It looks more along the line of pineapple weed or yarrow?

Wow, it's it's carrots I've got no idea at all how they got there!

Hmm, I dunno ... if I remember correctly Pineapple weed has thinner (almost fennel-like) leaves, while Yarrow has denser branches of leaves. I won't disagree - a better photo would make it easier but I'd still go with a seedling Common Fumitory, or something in that ballpark, because the little branches are flattened and it is that pale grey-green colour

The leaves look a lot like Wormwood... and the colour looks good for wormwood too.

Thank you all, I've just been out to try and get some better shots but unfortunately my phone just isn't capable of decent resolution close up.

Here's what I managed, I'll see if I can get hold of a decent camera tomorrow.

For what it's worth, the most common pattern off the little branches are three leaves arranged like a fleur-de-lys.
