| | | A Startling fern for ID! Startling to me anyway! I think its a fern!! Found on the cliffs above Teignmouth. Hosts of them growing there.

| | | Re: A Startling fern for ID! Not a fern, but one of the Horsetails (Equisetum spp). A very ancient group of plants, been around since the dinosaurs. They contain silica, and were once used to scour pans, I believe.
