I think you are spot on - Ulota crispa (Capsules narrowed just below mouth).
Looking at the British Bryological Society website it would seem that this is almost a certainty, seeing as my find was in Lancashire.
There would only have been one other possibility (considering the physical characteristics and location found), which would have been Ulota bruchii.
It is difficult to tell U.crispa and U.bruchii apart), but the capsules on U.bruchii look just slightly different, (i.e. tapering below the mouth).
It seems that I just happened to photograph it at the right time to clinch it as U.crispa.
