| | | Moss for ID please Can anyone help me to identify this moss that was in large cushions on Clogwyn Du'r Arddu in Snowdonia NP, Wales last week.

| | | Re: Moss for ID please The only thing I can come up with is Philonotis fontanum - it grows abundantly in wet flushes or perhaps on wet cliff ledges up in the mountains. The almost spherical capsules are pretty characteristic of the genus and they have tiny leaves on long blueish green stems which seems to fit.
