Anyway, the chap who posted the clip first is a well known paranormal enthusiast who has previously posted UFO videos. | Oh, so video cameras run forever then ? Or if it runs by film or card there is no such thing as having only a few minutes left before you have used it all up ? And could not the battery have gone flat at the worst possible moment ?
Are you also saying one has eyes in the back (or side) of ones head so that you are always ready to shoot the beginning of the action ?
Yes, there is doubt over the authenticity of this clip, but do come up with some valid reasons such as your paragraph on this chap being a well known paranormal enthusiast - if true.
Neil.

May I suggst this thread is locked - & the key buried in the permafrost of Siberia - ( a place 1000's of miles from - Britain ) ? |

Neil. | Its not the first hoax Michael Cohen of Barcroft media has been involved in (as a quick google search would have shown)
(Warning contains adverts and will probably have you marked out as a paranoid conspiracy theorist by the local e-police ) Michael Cohen UFO report: Dead alien found in UFO hotspot, Russia - YouTube
Anyway I think this puts it to bed. The original wasn't a bear, but a bare well there is a surprise..

Neil. | This made me chuckle. "Only logical explanation", really? What about the logical explanation that the clip was cut off well before it ended because it clearly didn't show a mammoth at all and was a big hoax. Quote:

Neil. | Doubt, only a bit of doubt? There was never anything to suggest the clip was anything but a hoax. No idea why you're so outraged and patronising but I'm glad to see the original clip has surfaced, surprisingly minus the extinct mammoth, and was revealed to be just a terrible an attempt at a hoax as most sane people suspected.
You don't appear to be very sane so I can only imagine you're quite upset to discover that mammoths no longer roam the earth |

| | | Re: Wooly Mammoth Alive? Cool it, Blackbird! Neil never gave any reason to believe he subscribes to their continued existance - he simply explained that sometimes videos can cut-out and cards/video-tape can be depleted before you've concluded a recording.
People would have been just as amazed at the re-discovery of the prehistoric Coelocanth from the depths. Siberia is a rather large place... an absence of evidence isn't evidense of absence. I suppose I should say, it's interesting to see how this is all over something other than a fox, squirrel, cat or dog! |

| | | Re: Wooly Mammoth Alive? its often the case with camera gear letting you down at that critical moment
with batteries low and and not noticing the card is almost full or with adrenalin pumping with the encounter its all to easy to mess up the settings and produce a dodgy low rez clip like this in the heat of the moment
but i don't go with the bear theory its defiantly an Indian elephant with twitchy ears and that is a trunk not a fish as scales are highly reflective which that appendage is not
the reason you all think its a bear is because subconsciously your minds telling you it should be a bear because of the location
no doubt about it this is dumbo who packed his trunk and is off to find the circus
